EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION
      Examination and evaluation are effective tools for the assessment of students in the academic system. The progress of each student in our college will be recorded continuously by internal assessment. An examination conducted at the end of each semester will be considered for external assessment.

      Post Graduate Diploma in E - Commerce, Certificate in Gandhian Thought and Diploma in Gandhian Thought Programmes examinations will be conducted only at the end of the academic year.
BEST PRACTICES
  • Admitting the students from other universities and other colleges to continue their studies in our institution by preparing the equivalence mark statement.
  • End Semester Examination Time Table is framed so as to enable the students to represent our college at National / State level events like Pre Republic Day Parade Camp 2008.
  • Implementation of Viva Voce which develops communicative skills that is helpful to further the careers of the UG, PG, & M.Phil Final Year students.
  • Introduction of PG projects and M.Phil Dissertation leading to research motivation and learning new computer technology.
  • Students of PG, M.Phil and a few UG Programmes receive their diploma within the stipulated period since the date of submission for project / Dissertation is last working day for the students.
  • Uniform Question Paper pattern is followed for all programmes.
  • Evaluation process is done along with conduct of End Semester Examination. It results in speedy evaluation and publication of results.

EXAMINATION REFORMS
  • Continuous Internal Assessment is followed to evaluate the steady progress of the learners.
  • Upto May 2010 Double valuation was carried out and the acceptable variation between the two evaluations was limited to 15% only and this ensured concurrence in evaluation.
  • From November 2010 onwards,it was decided to follow Single Valuation by External Exminar only (Door valuation)
  • The evaluation is transparent.
  • Question Banks are maintained in the departments for coaching the students.
  • Feed back is collected from the external examiners for the courses that have Practical exams, Subject viva, Project viva and Dissertations viva help in improving the system of evaluation as well as the teaching – learning process.
  • Only one mark moderation is given.and it is computerized.
  • Repeat Examination is conducted for the Final year Students.
  • Controller of Examinations section is fully automated.
  • Examinations for 750 theory & 90 practical courses are conducted within a short span of 40 days.
  • Subject viva voce is conducted for all the UG, PG and Diploma programmes which enhance the students’ ability to face interview.
  • To promote the aptitude skill of the students, coding answer sheet is provided for specific courses.

There will be NO Term Examination for the following Courses:
  • Value Added Courses
  •       Career Guidance & Subject Viva
          Library & Information Science
  • Social Awareness Courses
  •       NSS/NCC/Extension Activity/Youth Red Cross/ Social Service League
  • Physical Education
  • Term Examination will be conducted for PG, M.Phil., Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Commerce and computer Programmes.
    For UG, PG, M.Phil., Certificate, Diploma, Advanced diploma and PG Diploma programmes there will be single valuation by the External Examiner.
